10-play
A multi-line video poker machine that allows gamblers to play up to 10 hands. However, maximum coins on all ten hands must be bet. Otherwise, the royal payout is shorted.
3-play
A multi-line video poker machine that allows gamblers to play up to 3 hands. However, maximum coins on all three hands must be bet. Otherwise, the royal payout is shorted.

5-play
A multi-line video poker machine that allows gamblers to play up to 5 hands. However, maximum coins on all five hands must be bet. Otherwise, the royal payout is shorted.
Comp
  1. (n) Originally short for complimentary (free), a Comp is anything a player receives from a casino either for free or at a reduced cost.
  2. (v) The action of giving a Comp, as in "My host comped my a room but did not pick up the spa treatments".
Full-coin
The number of coins that must be played to realize a particular games best paytable. Typically, casinos short-pay a video poker game when played less then Full-coin. For example, very often a Royal Flush pays 4000 units for a 5 coin, Full-coin wager, but only 800 units for a 4-coin wager. All vpfree2 pay tables are listed per coin, assuming that at least the Full-coin level is reached (5 coins in most instances).
MIA
Short for "Missing In Action ", referring to a machine that can no longer be located, because it has has been either downgraded, removed, or moved to an unknown.
RFB
A term used to describe a comp level, usual short for "Room, Food & Beverage" or "Room and Full Board". Typically, a player is brought in on an RFB comp (rather than earning it during a trip). The RFB applies only to what a pre-determined number of people (say 2) might consume and covers only what might be charged to a casino hotel room. However, some common items, such as telephone calls and spa charges are rarely covered by RFB.
Short
  1. Not having enough money.
  2. A reduction in a pay out from the typical payout or maximum payout for a particular hand or game. Casinos often short some commonly occurring payouts and raise other rare payouts (ex, Royal Flush). This generally reduces the EV for the entire game.
Short pay
  1. A video poker machine with a less than full-pay pay table.
  2. A video poker game that has a reduced payout for a particular hand, as compared to a higher paying version game (a game with higher expected return)
TITO
A video poker or slot machine that takes tickets (as a source of funds) and prints tickets. TITO is short for "Ticket-In / Ticket-Out". Most TITO machines no longer accept coins of any type.
