Do not think you are playing video poker at Four winds casino locations. They are nothing more than slot machines that look like video poker these machines do not play based on video poker. I'm a very experienced and seasoned video poker player And believe Me when I tell you they do not play properly. bigtim08
Pre-covid Windsor was diamond-friendly. You could dine gratis at the Diamond Lounge. The Artist Cafe, and Legends Sports Bar were excellent spots to eat using Reward Credits. Mailers invariably included buffet comps. Post-covid is a 100% turnaround. The diamond lounge and buffet remain closed. The Artist cafe has been replaced with a (limited opening hour) cafeteria-style downgrade.Three other (outsourced) locations charging twice the Reward Credits are mediocre. Seems to us Windsor should treat their Diamond Players better with either daily food credits or extra R.C.s. in lieu of the Laurel Lounge and buffet comps. blavoie46
Casino Rama, Great Blue Heron, and Slots at Georgian Downs are now operated by the Gateway Casino group. Their individual players cards have been replaced by "One Club". Due to covid, tier status and comp points were extended while shut down. On May 26/2022 .they sent out emails advising that effective in 5 days - May 31 - comp expiry would be reactivated - and ANY COMPS OLDER THAN 90 DAYS WOULD EXPIRE. There must have been a major outcry, since 2 days later they sent another email loudly proclaiming that "We heard you - comps will now be active until June 30 before expiring". We had show tickets for Michael Bolton, purchased thru Ticketmaster pre-covid. Ticketmaster refused a refund on the basis the show was not cancelled, only postponed. On Friday June 3 we attended Casino Rama for the show and dinner (to use up some comps pre-expiry). Even though the box office people had confirmed a day earlier that our tickets were valid; on arrival at the showroom we were told they were not! Eventually a supervisor came thru with with substitute tickets (but not on the floor as we had paid for). After the show we attended the player's club to check out the comps. PLAYERS CLUB WAS CLOSED ON A FRIDAY EVENING. We were then directed to the "Player Services" booth were there were all of TWO attendants working, with a lineup of 12 or 14 people. We skipped the lineup and went to Weirs Dining Room (our favorite 24/7 spot). WEIRS WAS CLOSED ALSO. We then tried the buffet - ALSO CLOSED. Finally we went to the Yardhouse Sports Bar. It was open, with a WAIT LINE OF 32 PEOPLE - yes we counted them. We left Casino Rama and ate elsewhere. We won't return in a hurry. As far as we are concerned this amounts to nothing more than a theft of our hard-won comps. blavoie46

I won two VP jackpots on a Multi-game slant top then the next day, the machine was different. On my next visit, it was gone. I looked for the machine number throughout the casino but it’s gone. There was a newer 100-play in the video poker room (east side near garage entrance) and it was removed. On my most recent visit, ALL 50-play and 100-play machines were removed. There was one mult-play machine that seemed to have a LOT of activity and hard to get on. It had a couple of slots and keno on it as well as VP. I found out that that machine had a JOB 9/6 with 4000 royal flush. When I returned, it was gone. The latest trick there’re using is showing 9/6 JOB but only 2500 for a royal flush…punk move. txcomo
