The rate to redeem points for food is now 1000 points per dollar. Previously the rate was 600 points per dollar, a 40% discount.

Apparently the VP section has moved again. All the machines are now located by the back hotel entrance to the casino, by the self serve soda machine. There are a total of 26 slant tops with 9/6 JoB 7 are 25c only 8 are 25c and $1 11 are $1 only The machines also have keno on them, so getting on a machine on Saturday is difficult. There are 2 uprights but they don't have JoB on them. The only other VP machines are uprights that are not full pay. 1 STP, 5 Ultimate X and 2 Hot roll multiplier. Verified they are still 60c/point

Sam' has the 9/6 on the desktop. Only one of the uprights with 9:6 are retained this was as of 10 days ago they had 20 or so upright's and they are gone I will recheck

Went in Jan.2015, returned at end of Feb. to find they closed entire 2nd floor, including many v.p. machines. They selection on the 1st floor is meager at best. They removed a lot of food, the sharks have a smaller feeding area, I don't think this will benefit them in the long run.

Everything is "status quo". Now easily has the best bartop game with 9/6 JoB for quarters. 9/6 JoB for quarters is one of the best games in Tunica period now. :(

Hi there. We just got back from Sam's Town in Tunica, just some minor corrections to the database: 1. All of the machines on the second floor (a variety of slants and uprights) have 9/6 JoB, for quarters, 50 cents, dollars, or a combination thereof. No other good games loaded on those machines. The second-floor bartops are all quarter 8/5 JoB with four-way progressives on the different-suited royals. 2. The "main bar" is called Roxy's Live Bar, on the first floor; all 20 bartops have 9/6 JoB for quarters (not dollars) and nothing else good. For what it's worth, there's nothing good at Resorts or Hollywood, across the street. Hollywood is the worst, 7/5 JoB for quarters with the royal shorted until you play 10 coins. Just an update, Sam's Town is using the B Connected Slot club since 2010. VP Cashback is 0.25% by default. Sapphire raises it to 0.375% and Emerald raises it to 0.50%.

It is very difficult to find a host at this casino who doesn't give you a blank stare if you are not a whale.
However, we did find a young man named Brandon in the VIP reservation room who helped us get a couple more nights comp'd while he extended our stay.
On another visit, there was a young lady again in the VIP check-in room (sorry, we did not record her name) who found a way to put a comp'd night into their computer so that there would be no room bill for us when we had to check-out and depart at 4 a.m. once.
Finding a host is difficult at this casino - they do not go looking for you.

There are several banks of 25 and 50 cent 9/6 JOB MG Game Kings near the bar on the second floor. The $1 games in the same area are 8/5.

Sam's Town has been stealthily increasing the countdowns on its VP, too. They finally hit the machine I was fond of in January. (After a 6 month drought I hit two royals on it in Dec. Was that its death knell?) All VP now has $30 countdowns, $1 CB for 15 points (0.22%). Countdowns remain 20 on Sam's absolutely horrible $5 machines, as well as 3 dollars and 3 quarters (forgotten, missed, what?). The countdowns on Sam's 50-play nickels are still 3000. They were not fixed when the machines were changed from 1c to 5c. Not that anyone here would play those anyway.
