Reported by a visitor: Current comp rate at .50 FP BP & JOB is a measly .047%. Barely adds anything to EV except on 8 and 10x comp dates. Host claimed that $100 coin in earns 1 tier point.

No major inventory changes noted since before the pandemic, though some machines have moved around a bit, and sadly the nice modern WMS carousel near the Buffet is missing. (The Buffet itself is also missing for now. That area is currently an employee lounge called "Island Cove". Since hopefully this is temporary: instead of updating locations on all machines, please think "Island Cove" when you see "Buffet" in machine descriptions.) Comp and tier point accumulation is rather slow while playing video poker, so watch the calendar for the multiplier days.

Hotel stay comments, reported by a contributor: Re: our stay on June 4, 2017. We checked in with Hilliary. Very nice lady. The room was nice. Noticed a couple of things. One of the glasses in the bathroom had a large crack. Unusable. We were given a handicap accessable room. The door for the bathroom would not open flat against the wall. We felt it was a safety hazard for someone getting up in the night to use the bathroom. Other than those two items, it was a very pleasant experience.

As reported earlier, comps have gone down: Played $.25 NSUD (tax special - $1199 Royal). For $125 coin-in received 1 tier point and $.05 comp (.04%). Multiple comp days are the only time to play. Recently had 10x comp weekend, but usually 5x. Currently at Platinum level. Not worth it to go to Diamond level - added benefits are not worth it.

Don't know the specifics but recently played on 10X comp day. Played for a solid three hours, mostly on .25 triple play NSUD. Earned $8 comps. If it weren't 10X comp day, that works out to be about .27/hour.

Reported from a contributor... Peppermill has changed their machine setup for point countdowns. All slots have the same point accrual and all VP seems to also have the same point accrual. Slots are $20 per point (about 0.3% in comps) Video Poker started off at $50 per point (0.11% Comps) but this point accrual level seems to be in a state of flux. It has gradually increased over the past several months and now seems to be around $90 per point at Video Poker with comps still at around 0.11% of your action. Players known to play low edge games (like NSUD) whose Freeplay to Theo ratio gets out of whack will have a switch flipped on their account increasing the countdown that applies to them.

Reported from a contributor... (3) Big Splits in Eleganza High Limits have been downgraded a notch (now 99% paytables). Also: The 50 play in HL has been downgraded as is almost everything I'm checking. We welcome updates, both good and bad, as you check out your favorite games around the casino floor.

Restaurant comments from a reader: We had dinner at CHI on May 31, the food was just ok this time. The service was absolutely terrible. Our waiter took our order, seemed like it took forever to get our food, 23 min. from time he took our order till we got our dinner. Never saw him again till he brought the check. The place was not busy, so that can't be a good excuse. If they were short handed it was not evident, may have been managements fault at that point.

General comments about the Peppermill from a reader: Well I like the front desk area much more now, much nicer looking. Also the carpet new since my last visit, much brighter and looks good. Had a great massage with Tamara, and very good housekeeping service with Sandra. Both very friendly and nice. And Jonaper(Johnny) cocktail server always remembers me on my trips here for the USBC bowling tournament. And always provide great service, very upbeat and friendly I look for her every year. thank you
