Owner JACK Entertainment, formerly known as Rock Gaming, has officially taken over operations of the Horseshoe Casino Cleveland from Caesars Entertainment. Casino name has been changed to JACK Cleveland Casino.

To be more specific about the video poker machines at Horseshoe Cleveland, there is a second floor video poker area that has three banks of video poker machines that are .25/.50/$1 with 8/6 JOB, 7/5 Bonus Poker and 9/6/5 Double Bonus.

These three banks are mixed with other banks of machines with lower pay tables including All American poker that has a shorted four of a kind at 25 coins or 125 coins at max bet. This lowers the payback to under 98%.

There is also against the wall in the second floor video poker machines with a three way (Royal, Straight Flush and four of a kind) progressive 8/5 JOB at the quarter level.

We recently spent 3 days at this casino and can confirm that the video poker pay schedules are all very poor. Too bad! We loved their buffet!

They have 8/6 Jacks or Better at the Quarter Level. I think that is worth posting to be a little more specific than "nothing good here", which I admit is technically true except that I think their hotel comps for Total Rewards members are pretty loose at this time.

The place was pretty crowded yesterday, 6/1, and that was in the afternoon. I had no trouble getting on VP machines. 25c minimum. 9/6/5 DB, 8/5 DDB, and only 6/5 BP. JOB was 8/6 or 8/5. There were a few hundred and fifty play machines .05 minimum and spin poker.
