The room was disappointing. After all the hype we read on message boards and heard on TV, we were expecting a more spacious room. Especially for the price! We paid $239 for Sat night and $159 for Sun night. Got a 12th floor standard room with a view directly over the pool area. Typical Steve Wynn room - muted shades of brown, taupe, gold - much like the colors at Golden Nugget. Nice beds, but once again, the hype was overrated. My husband and I have the same kind of mattress at home and I didn't notice anything spectacular. Usual minibar with sensors - $3 for candy, $4 for sodas, $5 for beer. I like the divided wardrobe so that each person can have their own "closet". There is a robe for each person plus a spare one. Has a safe - nice and roomy with a shelf. Great iron - good steam feature that worked without leaking or dripping. Nice use of mirrors all over the room, like I said, typical Steve Wynn (which is not a bad idea). Bathroom very roomy - large tub (no whirlpool jets) that could fit two, only one sink for both to share with ample counter space. One room so the toilet is not private. Glass enclosed shower with the hardest water pressure I have ever experienced in Vegas!
