I have been going to Sunset Station for six years now, I play video poker mostly at the 1 dollar level and also multiplay at 50 cent and 1 dollar level I have had numerous hand pays. The Restaurants are excellent especially the oyster bar and the Italian. I also like the area in Henderson where it is situated there is plenty to see and do in Henderson, a short drive to Green Valley Ranch and fiesta ! I love Stations, I get great comps and great food and rooms and I have no desire to go to the strip anymore, besides I feel it is all about the fancy restaurants and the posh drinks and swanky restaurants , I am so over the strip, been there done that! Rising Star has upgraded a most of its rooms including added a number of suites. The accommodations are good, and the suites are very good. The buffet has been upgraded somewhat. The food is not great, but neither is it bad. The steakhouse which is only opened on weekends is good and reasonably priced. While the casino is about what you would expect for a river boat, it ain’t The Aria, or even MGM (Some of the people there look straight out of Damon Runyon or John Steinbeck.) it does have some decent VP: A number of NSUDs in various denominations, 9/6 DDB, 8/6 DDB Ultimate X. The supposed 9/6 JOB I have not seen. Room and food comps are not that hard to get, and the players club point system on VP and slots is $4.00 equals 1 point, among the best in the Mid-West. scarbrowv

Four of us car pool to Winstar every other week. Since they stopped the busing we don't go every week. The last four months the slot machines have been very tight. Not many bonuses and the pay outs were way down. But the last two times things have improved. I think they have loosened some of the slots. We have been getting more bonus rounds and better pay outs. Not anything big but in the $100 -$200 range. As long as they are giving out the free breakfast we will return. Now if you want to try the little casino around the corner from Winstar I would advise it. They do pay out a lot better than Winstar. doctor

Quarter 9/6 JB and some good DB. The 3 progressives are poor. The place has been renovated (and still is being) so most of the info about the VP on your site is outdated. Sundays are 3x points.
