(1) $0.50 100 play machine in the VIP area has: 60/8/5 SA 99.94% - 1000/20/10 JW2 99.92% - DBDW 99.81% - 16/10 NSUD 99.73% - 80/9/5 SDB 99.69% - 9/6 Bdlx 99.64% - 9/7 TDB 99.58% - 9/6 JoB 99.54% - 9/4/4 BDW 99.45% - 8/5 BP 99.17% - 9/7 DB 99.11% - 50/9/6 DDB 98.98%. I didn't see a $0.50/$1 100 play machine. They also had (2) 3/5/10 play machines with 9/6 Job, 16/10 NSUD, and a couple others I didn't write down... not in the VIP area.

The 25c/50c/$1 9/6 JoB that were scattered around the casino have been downgraded to 8/5. I could not find one machine at 9/6. When I was there in July, it was plentiful. Plus, there seems to be less VP machines and more slots available. They had one $1 BP machine with a fuzzy screen that had 8/5. All others I could find had been downgraded to 7/5.

The new "wing" at Viejas is open. My first impression is that it is mostly for high rollers. There is a pit with limits about the same as the other pits. And there are some low denom. slots, including a big carousel-style 1-cent Wheel of Fortune. The VP is pretty much $2 and up. I saw mostly 99%+ games for $2 and up, including a couple of 50-cent 100-play machines. The best game I saw was Triple Bonus Plus (99.8%). There's a nice bar with the same 99% games available on one side and no machines on the other side. The style of the whole area is a little swankier than the rest of the casino. One nice feature are the large, mostly colored, windows featuring the pastoral surroundings of the reservation.

I recently took in the '1.8M' expanded area - to see what all the hype was about. Actually, they did a pretty good job (savvy new casino area sort of reminds me of the Palms/HR parts of it, but placed in a room with Large Glass windows overlooking the surrounding hills and plains). Machine-wise, not much inventory added. I think that whatever was in the 'old' VIP room is now in the newer one, which is much more open. In fact, anyone can walk just past the curving 'V-bar and lounge area' (no machines at the bar, but good eats, not so cheap, and hi def plasma TVs). There are about 6-8 Multi Demon GameKings ($2-5-10-25) with fullpay NSUD, JB, BP, BPDeluxe, DDB, and even Bonus DW (99.4). If you can stand the volatility - there is also Triple Bonus Plus (99.8) the 100-1 for SF and 1200 Aces/600 2s-4s 9/5 game. (Like White Hot Aces). DB is std. 9/7. Also requires $10/pt, so .1%, although I've read somewhere that 'higher' tier players can earn as much as .2-.4%. Of course, that's miniscule and relative to one's coin-in. If you can afford to run 600K or more through such games, then these are the machines you should probably play. There are some $1-2-5 3/5 play slanttops, as well. And 2 scattered upright (.50c only) 100 plays. 2 pr joker game 10-6-5, Super Aces, Super Dbl Bonus were unique on this platform, in addition to NSUD/JB/Bonus Deluxe as higher paying games. Nothing more of note. Just a nicer environment to play in. The one Multi-strike game that USED to be in the SLOT CITY area seems to have disappeared, along with the WALLS that now open up into the new swanky west-side casino. The LONE machine that is still listed in VpFree database is still ok (East side area).

Future expansion planned. Most stand-alone mgmd GKs (multi-denom. IGT gameKings) have 9/6 JB with .2% cb ($5 coin-in per pt), but it now takes $10 to earn a point on many of the lower denomination better games. Tthe 3/5 plays and the (2) Multi-strikes are set at .1% cb ($10/pt). (and possibly the high denom $1+ machines). Live poker continues to have daily morning AND evening tournaments and drawing bonuses (I won $250 for the first time, just for being a tournament player who stayed afterward to play in live games!). Free dinner weekend buffet for any 2 hours live during the week. Check their website for current info. (under poker calendar/promotions). Viejas sends me $10 voucher after any 10 visits in a month. Free swipe promotions usually are 1 in 3 to 1 in 4 as winners ($5 minimum to larger prizes).

On their better pay games they give .1% in points that can be used for merchandise, comps, or with a coupon they mail to you, cashed in for certain amounts. The data base shows .2%. Their premium card, which start at about $1.2 million coin in over 6 months, gives you .2%. They also give about .1% in outside comps such as concerts, sports events, amusement park tickets, etc., but you have to ask your host for them.

I put $250,000 coin total through in 2 sessions and asked if I qualified for their lower premium tier. They said I had 1100 Theo and I need 6000 theo in 6 months and 10000 theo for their higher level. They have higher qualifications than I can handle. I was playing 50 cent 100 play, which is easy to get big coin in.
