There is a row of MG, multi-denominational slant tops that has NSUD at 99.73% if you play for dollars. The rest of the games on the machine pay less than 99% if you play quarters, with the flush usually down 1 coin from FP. You will have to search a little for these. They are sort of catty corner from the bar. There are not any 99%+ games for quarters so far as I can see at this casino. There are much better places to play in town for 25c and $1 players.

*** MIA - *** (5) 5c (3 Play) uprights under the NICKLE sign.

Confirmed that the only machines above 99% in Riviera Blackhawk are: the five nickel triple play NSUD's under the nickel sign and a bank of four .25/.50/$1 BP's near cashier by parking garage. Every JoB I could find was at most 9/5 or 8/6.

… The deuces pay table on the nickel and quarter triple plays which were NSU are now a very poor 97% pay table. Also, the "Leather" jackets they gave away recently, turns out they're fake-no leather whatsoever. I would recommend you take your business elsewhere, honest treatment of customers seems to be a problem there.

… the Riviera is reducing its video poker cashback to .25% as of September 1 ($2 coin-in = 1 point, 1000 points = $5). The Riv is offering 3x points on video poker Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday throughout September, presumably as some sort of way to ease the transition. …I was at the Riviera on Friday August 11. I noticed that one of the 3/5/10 play multigame/multidenomination machines has a 10-play .05 8/5 Super Aces Bonus game. This was in a bank of several of these machines closer to the front of the casino on the left side as you face towards the parking garage side. I wasn't able to check all of them as the others were busy; the one I checked was the rightmost one.

I think they base mailers on monthly averages. A monthly average of $4k cash in will get you 4 weekly coupons of $20 each. Meal comps are easy, 900 points will earn you a dinner buffet comp and the points are not deducted from your account. Less points are required for lunch and breakfast.

Looks like only two of the MG MD triple play machines with 25c JOB remain in the non-smoking area upstairs. There is still one 5c triple play NSUD up there. Also have two multistrike machines downstairs, near the "nickles" sign. Busy when I was there, so didn't get a look at the pay tables.

The six 5c 3-play machines have been relocated. Five of them are in a bank along the center of the west wall, near the bar (under the "Nickels" sign); the sixth is tucked away in a corner of the upstairs non-smoking area. Most of the better 25c 3-play machines have been moved downstairs, between the nickel games and the bar. The upstairs area is now mostly slots.

I was playing at the Riviera on March 1, 2005, when workmen removed two of the six 5c 3-Play machines on the west wall (the best game is NSUD). They said they were making room for a new entrance (a bridge to the Isle of Capri across the street) and that the machines would be relocated, most likely to the upstairs non-smoking area. The Riv has reduced their double point days for Seniors to Wednesday only but the amount of points you can double is unlimited. They previusly offered double points up to 5000 on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for Seniors.
