They've added single-0 video roulette which is one of the better games available. Things have been pretty static. The new facility, should be open in the summer of 2008.

A 1-dollar, 2-dollar, 5-dollar bank has been added in the food court. Same crappy paytables. $5 video blackjack paying 3/2 has been added. Six decks, dealer hits soft 17, no re-splitting Aces, double on anything, and (sorry) I forget what the DAS rules are. No matter; I figure the basic strategy player has about a 1.5% disadvantage. Construction has begun on the permanent facility.

More VP games added, but the paytables remain poor. A 1-dollar, 2-dollar, 5-dollar bank has been added to the smoking section. Some slant-tops have been converted to video blackjack. Blackjack pays even money. A section of the parking lot has been blocked off. I assume this is where the permanent facility will be built.

Approximately 1,100 machines. No table games, no keno, no Sportsbook. No sign of video blackjack, video roulette, video craps, video let-it-ride, etc. Even video keno is conspicuously absent. Reel slots and video poker only. No video poker progressives; progs on reel slots only. Two floors: non-smoking upstairs, smoking downstairs. Housed in remodeled, previously existing racetrack space. Ceilings are low, which results in a slightly claustrophobic feel. One bar on each floor. No buffet, only a small food court upstairs. It's more attractive than I expected, but still looks and feels like the temporary racino it's supposed to be. A "real" casino in a new, separate building is being advertised with a mid-2008 opening, but construction hasn't started yet. Video Poker details: 12 upright and 16 bartop machines downstairs (smoking) 16 upright, 8 bartop, and 10 slant-top machines upstairs (non-smoking) Variations include 3-play/5-play/10-play, Multi-Strike, and Super Times Pay All machines are MG/MD. Nearly all are 25-cent, 50-cent, 1-dollar; there is one bank (upstairs) of 1-dollar, 2-dollars, 5-dollars, but paytables are no better than what's described below. Double Bonus: 9/6 (97.8%) found at two seats in upstairs bar. Couldn't check remaining seats or any downstairs bar seats; all were occupied. Elsewhere in the casino, 8/5 will be found, with a few scattered 9/6. Jacks or Better: 8/5 (97.3%) found at two seats in upstairs bar. Couldn't check remaining seats or any downstairs bar seats; all were occupied. Elsewhere in the casino, 7/5 and 6/5 will be found. Joker's Wild: 1-1-2-3-4-5-25-50-100-200-(4000) (96.0%) at 25-cent and 50-cent scattered throughout casino 1-1-2-3-5-7-15-50-100-200-(4700) (96.7%) at 1-dollar level scattered throughout casino At the 1-dollar/2-dollar/5-dollar bank, I saw what might have been the AC 5k jackpot paytable. Deuces Wild: 1-2-3-4-4-8-10-20 (95.9%) at 25-cent and 50-cent scattered throughout casino 1-2-2-3-4-13-16-25 (96.7%) at the 1-dollar level scattered throughout casino Bonus, Double Bonus, Bonus Deluxe, etc.: I didn't document and check any of these, but doubt there's anything good. I remember seeing 6/5 DDB, which is a sub-95% return.

The tax rate in Pennsylvania is high; I don't know the exact figure, but it's somewhere around 60%. Accordingly, the paytables are terrible.
