Jackson recently had its grand reopening after the endless constructions. VP is now 7/5 JOB. There is nothing that is 99% or better. Best game is 9/5 JOB.

5 new machines are old uprights (that used to be in Dalton Hall) are now next to the 2,400 hph single line 9/6 JOBs (yes, you can play 2,400 hph on these machines and 2,000 hph is cruising speed). The games for 3 and 5 play are different and listed separately. Please note Jackson is still renovating so actual location will be determined.

Jackson to end comps- "must use comps by end of December 2010 or you lose them."

Also, Jackson to simplify their their slot club to base tier or "Classic", 2nd tier or "Premier" at 10,000, and top tier or "Elite" at 150,000 points per 6 months (Jan to Jun and Jul to Dec). Before, they had 5 tiers.

There is a Quad Sevens doubled promotion Mon-Fri 9am-noon and Mon-Thu 9pm-midnight, if you hit natural quad sevens on any line with full credits bet you are paid double. Add in the points from the player's club card, and the Bdlx payout comes to 101.26%, by my math. They also have a number of days for player's club bonus points. This month, August 2010, Wednesdays are 3x points, Monday early mornings are 4x points, and alternating Fridays and Saturdays are 5x points.

The 99.54 JoB was installed in Dalton Town Hall because Bo's Watering Hole is all torn up. There's no video poker or drink service at Bo's right now.

I can confirm the pick'em is gone. Best play is the 3 way progressive 9/6 JOB $1 at the bar. They have the autohold, which I find strange. There is also 9/6 JOB in the high limit room- $5,$10,$25. I did not see any of the other games listed in the database, and I think they are gone.

Jackson confirms that the game makers (which are the ones in Dalton Hall with the 9/6 job and the pickem) have been taken out. Too old, they said, and can't get parts. That leaves the bar as the only place for 9/6 job (at $1 denom.)

Jackson has 3 way progressives (RF, STFL, and Quads) at the bar (near over-priced burger joint) in $1 and $0.25 denominations.  The $1 are 9/6 JOB and $0.25 are 8/5 JOB with about 7 or 8 seats for each jackpot, respectively.   The meter movement for the $0.25 are not "very fast" as someone mentioned earlier.  I couldn't time the meter movement due to other players but the RF meter moved considerably slower than the STFL or Quads.  For example, someone took down a STFL for $220 and a couple of hours later, the STFL jackpot was back at $180 -- keep in mind the reset value is $61.25.  The RF meter never matched the STFL's movement.  Please put a caveat on the "very fast meter" since that comment is highly subjective.  Also, these 0.25 machines offer "autoplay" which makes the correct choices most of the time.   Jackson has a current promotion that gives you free play for gas purchased at its General Store.  The promo is good Mon-Thur, limit of $75 in gas and the store is right off Highway 88, past Highway 49.  If you have a player's card, then you also save $0.10 per gallon.  If you come via Ridge Road to NY Ranch Road (the traditional method), then prepare to drive an extra 2 to 3 miles on "Dalton road" to the General Store and then drive back to the casino.  It's a nice gas station with a clean bathroom, a chance to buy snacks or hot beverages on the way back to the bay are or on the way to Tahoe.  They also have prepared sandwiches and hot food with tables and chairs making this a great rest-stop in the area.   At Jackson every $600 in coin-in is 300 points for video poker and you can get $1 in free play per 300 points at selected machines OR get $1 worth of comps at selected restaurants.  That comes to 0.166% (1/600) in comps or free play. Lastly, Jackson also offers a RV park and I thought that might help somone.

Some of the $1 9/6 JOB progs have been removed and they've added Quarter 8/5 JOB 3 way prog with very fast meters.

*** MIA - *** 25c bank of 9/6 JoB uprights in a carousel between stage and escalator.
Apr, 2006
The DB listing for PKM and JoB "25c bank of Game Maker uprights in a round carousel between the performance stage and the info booth at the bottom of the escalator." should be changed to "8 25c GM uprights against the wall to the left of the restrooms behind the escalator" Job on these is short pay, PKM is still there, they also have 'gold strike' deuces, with what maybe a bonus game for full house, didn't chance it and the paytable was junk.

They have $1 9/6 JOB bar tops with a three way prog by the waterfall, pond. Best quarter play I found were 6 machines with 3/5 play 9/6 JOB, 9/6 DDB and 9/6 Bdlx. They are against the west wall.

At the corner of the casino near the bathroom toward the back of the casino, there are 10 machines linked to progressive RF's. These machines used to be $1 9/6 JOB with the top three payoffs being progressives. The machines have been changed to $1 8/5 JOB with each suit being progressive -- a separate jackpot for each suit, respectively. When I was there, the jackpots ranged from $4K to $8K.
