I have word that the machines in high limit were shut down and when they came back up pay tables have been downgraded. I am trying to get more detail from my source.

I found 5 NSUD single line $1, $2, $5, and $10 near the non-smoking area, NOT in the high-limit room. Everything else looked pretty bad.

Some of the $5 & $10 BP games have been downgraded to 7/5. The only remaining $5 and higher BP are the machines on the wall in the high-limit area and the 3 MG/MD slant-top machines near the promotions booth.

Hollywood Aurora sent $80 (and free admission and free parking) to lure us out there. We hadn't been there since they started charging admission to everything except the bathroom, and (they said) they missed us. So we visited. We found a VP wasteland, with maybe 8 (barely) playable machines (9-6 Double Aces and Faces at .25 .50 and 1.00) Most machines I checked offered returns of less than 97% --- some far less. I actually saw 7-5 DDB. I vowed never to complain about the Majestic or the Trump again. Oh yeah, ... unless you have a coupon, admission is $5, parking is $2, and re-entry to the casino is $5. What are they, nuts? The joint was as quiet as a mime convention, and I can see why. I wish them lots of luck getting back the $80 million they claim they spent on their new facilities. Charging fees for admission and parking is not an incentive. I now drive to a casino 60 miles away, but I have a lot more fun making a lot more money. I've learned to respect Majestic thanks to my experience with Illinois and even some Nevada casinos. MS isn't perfect, but it certainly has its good points and is clearly #1 in the area as far as VP is concerned. Hollywood OTOH is in the "don't even bother" category.
