From an Eldorado Reno player: "I am at Eldorado this morning (8/27). The technicians are currently downgrading the bank of 10 machines with progressive jackpot. Job went from 9/6 to 8/5. Bonus poker from 8/5 to 7/5. Deuces wild from 80/50 to 75/45. Job totally gone at 50 cent and dollar. They tell me they are not messing with the other bank of 10 machines. We will see."

From an Eldorado Reno player: "Can also confirm the previous update from another user. The Row in Reno is going on a rampage downgrading almost all of their video poker. The Eldorado 25c 9/6 JOB progressive near Starbucks has now been downgraded to 8/5 JoB overnight between Aug 26 and Aug 27. That 9/6 progressive has been their for decades. It all started when they removed all the $1 9/6 JoB progressives from all the bars. It is truly the end of an era. I did not see this downgrade coming. The longtime Eldorado VP players are very knowledgeable about video poker and I hope they complain."

From an Eldorado Reno player: "I played at the Eldorado last weekend and was able to find two machines with full pay Super Aces and Bonus Poker at the quarter, half dollar, and dollar denomination. They are located in a bank of four slant tops between the Sports Book and the nearby door, the two machines closest to the bar. I also played at most bars on the property and was not able to find any bartops with NSUD at the quarter or half dollar denoms, it seems like the bartops are Airport deuces or worse. There are still a good number of slant tops on the floor with NSUD however."

From an Eldorado Reno player: "Mechanics are scrambling to remove all the old bar machines with 9/6 progressive JOB payouts with band new machines with nonprogressive 9/5 tables prior to this weekend's Seven Stars Event."

From a Reno Player: "I will try to clarify what has been said. But it appears that any multi-play machine with 9/6 JOB on it is now $20 per point. This is true for both the Silver Legacy and Eldorado."

Latest information is that most video poker at the Row casinos is $10 per point but the machines with better games are $20 per point.

From an Eldorado Reno player: "Just came back from Reno. Stayed at Silver Legacy. All VP machines in Gold Room at Eldorado, High limit in Eldorado and several machines on floor (did not try to look at all) pay only 1 RC/TC for $20. Very microscopic sign near the players card reader says " PLAY $20 FOR 1 REWARD CREDIT". Just doubled the price for any level."

From an Eldorado Reno player: "Some time in the past two weeks, the 100-line $0.25-$0.50-$1.00 multigame in the Eldorado high-limit section on the main casino floor was replaced by a newer 100-line machine, this one having bet sizes of $0.05 and $0.10 only. I did not check out the other games, just the Jacks or Better and Deuces Wild. The Jacks is Jacks 8/5, i.e., dreadful, and the Deuces was so bad that I didn't bother to take a note."

The Eldorado Reno players club has transitioned to Caesars Rewards.
