Fe’Adolphus “Curt” Curtiss is no longer the casino host at Downtown Grand. Bella Rodriguez is now the host.

The popular 25c 9/5 DDB progressive at the Downtown Grand Furnace Bar is now a 4-way progressive instead of a 2-way. Progressives have been added for four aces and four 2's/3's/4's with a kicker. Original progressives that are still there are the royal flush and four aces with a kicker.

Fe’Adolphus “Curt” Curtiss may now be the only Downtown Grand host. His was the only business card available at the host desk. And Joseph Phillips and Tom Delgado are no longer there according to their LinkedIn accounts.

The best remaining 3/5/10 play paytable is 15/9/4/4 Deuces Wild (98.91%).

From a DTG player: "I saw many more downgrades at Downtown Grand. The paytables are pretty much back to where they were before the experiment that started this summer. Downgraded are all the remaining 10/7 DB, 10/6/50 and 10/6/40 DDB. This includes the 25c 10/6/50 DDB progressive at the bar. It's now 9/5. The 9/6 DDB Ultimate X is now 9/5. Best paytable is now 8/5 BP on the many single-line machines on the floor and at the bar not on the Super Star Poker machines."

From a DTG player: "Gone are all APDW, 9/6 BDlx, 9/7 TDB, 9-4-4 BDW. Still some 10/7 DB and 10/6/50 DDB."

The Downtown Grand website now says only the 100% payback games are $10 per point. All others are $2 per point.

"3/5/10 play near restrooms: $1.00, and $0.50 denominations removed. Also, 10 play $0.25 removed. Maximum you can bet on this machine now, is 5 play at $0.25"

According to the new brochure available at the casino, video poker now requires $10 coin-in per point. Redemption rate is still 250 points = $1 free play. Confirmed key paytables such as the 25c 10/6/50 DDB progressive at the bar and 10/7 DB and 99.96% APDW in 5c through $1.

Dustin Ragan, formerly of the Golden Nugget Las Vegas, is now a host at the Downtown Grand.

Their website now states that "Video Poker Machines do not earn points." Previously video poker earned .2% with $2 coin-in = 1 point and 250 points = $1 free play.

From today's reports: "All full pay machines changed about 10 pm Monday evening" and "High Limit no longer has any VP machines..."

From a contributor: "The full pay experiment is officially a bust. They still have triple play FP machines (2). There are on 24/7 lockdown, I assume they will be history soon. They still have NO POINTS on any VP. So now instead of attracting pros, their VP will attract NOBODY. Brilliant!! Too bad, its a nice enough place and the VP is good (lots of 99.7-99.9% games)"
