From an Atlantis Reno player: "...I get up to Atlantis occasionally still and wanted to just highlight that I’ve been in contact with my host and there’s been no change to my comps/offers etc. I saw the recent post here and don’t know if that’s different for different tiers but I get the exact $225/month, 2 buffets, rooms etc. that I have for years and I gamble less now than I did. Will let you know if I get a noticeably smaller offer but as far as I know and I can tell at least at emerald/sapphire there have been no changes so not sure what the comment about the reduction in comps etc. was about."

From an Atlantis Reno player: "To clarify my post from May 2025: My wife and I are Ruby level and we each play $0.25 VP 3-4 hours a day consistently for the last 10 years. Until now, we've always received free rooms, any weekday, all year. $100 FP and 1 buffet (every month). Starting May we get $59-$100 weekday rooms. $25 FP and 1 buffet (every two months). Monarch Rewards desk told us "everything has changed" and "many people are complaining". The casino was quite empty compared to past years."

From an Atlantis Reno player: "Starting in May 2025, comps, free rooms, free play are significantly reduced. Staff at the Monarch Rewards desk said that starting in May "everything has changed". Still plenty of good machines though."

From an Atlantis Reno player: "Heads Up. On friday, jan 31st the three video poker machines in the tunnel that have nsu deuces were paying zero comps on a 5x day. Spot checked several other full pay vp and all were paying the correct comps."

From an Atlantis Reno player: "Except for a few older machines at the Oyster Bar, the Atlantis has replaced all the older poker machines at each bar within the property. All new variants of their video poker games."

From an Atlantis Reno player: " I don't know if this was a change to their slot club or what but I kept my same tier level (Sapphire which is the 4th out of 5, 6 if you include the Black Diamond Elite or their invite only one) but I had my Freeplay offer double from $75 - 2x a month to $150 - 2x a month. Not sure if that was based on my play which wasn't anything extraordinary for me or if they increased their mailer."

From an Atlantis Reno player: "Just a heads up that Atlantis has significantly tightened up both their comps and machines since the pandemic started. Don’t even bother engaging hosts there. Unless you are a whale they want nothing to do with you.

I’m a $10 per hand VP and $5 a spin slot player and get $75 a quarter in freeplay. Stopped going. If I’m going to be spending tens of thousands of dollars I’d like the appropriate treatment.

From an Atlantis Reno player: "I read the report saying that they’ve restricted cancelled VP players and from my talks with the host she didn’t make any mention of anything wrong with my play. I alternate between $15/25 tables on BJ and .25¢-$1 VP and am an Emerald/Sapphire level card holder depending on how many trips I can make up. I also brought my friend in to talk to her and she said his play was adequate to start being on their radar for a host and he’s a .25¢ level player. The tier credits seemed about the same to me, slow but no slower than usual. Also they now allow you to redeem your comps for Freeplay at the kiosk instead of having to go to the players club. Not sure if my comps haven’t been restricted because I alternate with BJ too but it seems the same to me as it has been for about the last 3 years I.e. low amounts of freeplay for mid-level players $50/75 bi-monthly, free rooms, $50-100 food comps, and slot tourney entries/bonus drawing entries."

From an Atlantis Reno player: "I unfortunately have to verify the same negative feedback as the May comments on my experience with comps. You can still earn points but it takes forever now to accumulate them. I’m unable to determine how much coin in will give you a point but definitely not v/p friendly."

From an Atlantis Reno player: "Was just told by Atlantis Casino that because most of my play (my wife plays slots same time as I play video poker but at a lower level) We have a joint account. We will receive no offers, no free play because we are considered advantage players, we just have an Emerald Card. Just a warning to other video poker players that Atlantis does not want your play. Will not give you any of the comps that other casinos will. We play the same at Peppermill, The Row and Western Village Inn, in fact we played more slots at Atlantis."

From a contributor: "You seem to earn comp points the same as you did last year, but now it's much harder to earn tier points on video poker, requires (what I was told by a casino host) anywhere from $30 to $60 coin-in depending on the particular video poker game you're playing to earn one tier point."
