Ameristar St. Charles. The (3) Loose Deuces machines all contain .25/.50/$. There are (7) decent machines, all by the crap tables (as listed). Each has 9/6 JB, 8/5 BP, 9/6 DDB and Ugly Ducks. There are at least (8) 50plays w/ 9/7DB, but ONLY at $0.10 denom, not at 0.05. (I didn't check all the 50plays, so there may be others w/ 9/7 DB at .05).

The STP 1/5/10 play machines were adjusted about 2 months ago and the 9/6 DDB was downgraded to 9/5.

The LDW $1, 0.50, 0.25 are back up and running with the same 12/8 paytable, they are still upstairs by the poker room. The Bonus Dueces $1 progressives are no Not progressives so that is pretty much worthless. the .25 9/6 JB are either removed or have been relocated. They are no longer by the craps tables. They have added about 10 Super X Pay machines, .05, .10, and .25 3/5/10 play and at the qrtr level they have 9-6 DDB, I think that comes out to about 99.36%, that may be the best play in the house (sad).

Ameristar pulled 2/3 (8 of 15) of the .25 9/6 JB machines in the past couple days. 17 Gamemakers have been installed, but none are turned on. Word is they do not have AA and the PE is the Slim PE variety. Also heard all the Loose 2's have been pulled.

Ameristar yanked any of the decent $1 games out of the high-limit room early this year and it has been a ghost town as far as VP goes in there. So they decided to mix it up a bit and installed about 6 or 8 of the wonderfull (not really) 9/5 DDB with 4 progressives so now there are 2 banks of this game that is rarely playable. The Bonus Dueces progressives upstairs by the poker room are still there but dont seem to be getting much action (most of the games in that area are $.25 so I think people walk up to them and go Uh Oh these are $1 and walk away. the base value is 98.8 and with the progrsvs they do get close to or over 100% fairly often, unfortunately it is the only decent chance for the $1 player at Ameristar, they still have the bank (8?) of the multi game $.25 machines on the right past the craps tables and most of the games are about 99% I believe and thier Multi-Strike games are much better than Harrah's MS (horrible pay scale) games. There are no Double or Triple point days in Aug at Ameristar, but I was told that they would have Double point days in Sept.

Ameristar just reduced the Loose Deuces $1 machines to the same schedule as the 0.25 and 0.50, with 5k paying 12/60 instead of 15/75. They also added some new Hold Em games that are very different.
