Today at Sam's I took a complete inventory of loose deuces and here is what I found. All are in slant top boxes. 15/8  3- Across from Sportsbook elevator and Willie & Jose's restaurant  1- In separate room across from Harvest cafe. 12/8 1- End machine at bottom of escalator across main aisle from Sportsbook  2- End machines next to main room elevators across main aisle from valet parking entrance.  I changed the location descriptions as I thought that the ones in the database were somewhat vague and obscure.

The multigame machines with the 8/5 BP progressive near Roxy in Sam's Town have been downgraded to 7/5. These are the machines with a progressive for each suit.

The $ SAB game is missing from it's location by Billy Joe's Bar and I haven't been able to find it anywhere else. The 2 .25 8/5 SAB are near the entrance to the Harvest Cafe -- SF pays 300. 8/5 SAB with 250 for the SF can be found in the multistrikes at .25 and some machines at .10.

I logged many hours playing OEJ's at Sam's Town. The correct pay table is: RF=8000; WRF=500; 5oK=500; SF=250; 4oK=50; FH=25; Flush=20; Straight=10; Trips=5; 2Pairs=5; 1Pair, Aces=5 101.4%, w/o comps,BB or CB. There may be other OEJ's at ST, but the pay ER is not as high. (Very volatile and definitely need a strategy card.)

Some positive games now require $2 coin-in to earn a point, and it's been reported that some people who only play $1  10/7 DB on 6X point days no longer get any mailings. Other players of good machines have had their mailings reduced for the same level of play.

There is a new 3/5 play $1  8/5 BP near the main cashier.

The .25 JoB 5-play MS at Sam's Town has been shorted to 9/5.

Weekend of March 4-6; a bank of at least 4, maybe 8 (don't remember) quarter PROGRESSIVE 9-6 JOB - location details unknown. Near Poker room, coffee / pastry counter and exit to the parking garage that is closest to Boulder Hiway.

Sams town is great for out of town room offers. I consider the offers I recieve to be weak for the play I give them. Every month the basic offer is the same of 3 free nights, gold card and $100 cash. I average between 80,000 and 100,000 coin in on my trips. I get much better offers from the stardust as far as trip cash goes but the machine selection and food leave a lot to be desired there. My parents also stay at sams town and they recieve 3 free nights, usually a silver card and between 25 and 50 dollars cash. They average around 25,000 coin in for the trip between them. I love sams town. The rooms are great (if you can get a suite try one) and the food is very good.

The rooms are lousy. The walls are thin. The place reeks of smoke. It's a glorified Motel 6. But the restaurants are a bit above average. Fellini's, where I ate last evening, is one of the best upscale Italian bistros in town. Billy Bob's (temporarily located near Roxy's due to renovation) is one of the better steakhouses in town. I think the buffet is at or near the top in quality and selection, and the cheap price puts it over the top.
