The casino floor is undergoing extensive renovations, so the machine counts and locations are now largely incorrect. when the renovations are done (the floor is actually 1/4 empty right now because they removed machines but have to wait for permits), i will try to cover the extensive changes and send a revised list, though it will take me a while - Taj Monitor.

The entire area near the front lobby is being converted to a smoking section. As a result, all of the machines that were there, are now either to the left of the dance floor or across from the entrance to Sultan’s Palace, as described above.

In the Sultan's Palace, the eight $1 JoB, BP full-pay MG have been replaced by $5, $10, $25 full-pay MG. The $1 and $2 machines that appear just outside the Sultan’s Palace are all short-pay.

In the Sultan's Palace, I found a $5 multi-game machine with 11/7 Triple Bonus on it (99.58%). I think this is currently the highest non-progressive return VP game at the Taj right now. There may be more machines with the game on it, it was in a bank of machines where some machines were single game, some were multi-game. This machine had a huge number of different games on it with pay tables ranging from OK to really bad. There is also at least (1) $1 11/7 TB near the front lobby.

The $10 and $25 9/6 JoB and the (8) $1 Quad Bonus in the high-limit room are MIA. Quad Bonus: 8/6 JoB that pays 80/1 for Aces, 60/1 for Kings, 40/1 for Queens and 20/1 for all other quads.

Many VP machines are old, slow, and falling apart. Nothing playable at lower denoms.
