As of 12/17/03, and all my previous recent visits (weekly), the Quarter Pick'em still requires $140 in to earn a point (.714) under regular circumstances (no double points). Also, the DB machines I viewed outside the Hi-Limit room in the Great Cedar Casino were 10/6/5 with 900 for 4 Aces, this works out to 99.33, with a varience of 32.5. If this were $70 coin in instead of $140, it wouldn't be a bad play for Foxwoods. These were the Halfs, I assume the Dollars are the same, but didn't check. I'm pretty sure the Dollars would be $70 coin in for a point, which may interest someone who plays 9/6 JB and wants a little more excitement?? Beware, with 2 pair... one pair being Aces, you keep the pair of Aces only.

I didn't have much time to take a good look arround but these are the paytables I saw in the great cedar casino at foxwoods: .25 - FP Pickem in the gamemakers in the alcove 7/5 bonus poker in the gamemakers in the alcove 9/6/5/(80 for full house) in the gamemakers in the alcove 9/6/5 (900 for Aces) in Sigma games in the alcove and with the short pay pickems on the main floor 8/5 Bonus (pays 50/40/20 for quads) (98.32%) in Sigma games in the alcove 8/5 Jacks in gamemakers with the short pay pickems on the main floor .50 - 8/5 Bonus (pays 50/40/20 for quads) (98.32%) in Sigma games 9/7/5 DB in IGT uprights 10/6/5 (900 for Aces) DB in Sigma - location and game details are unknown. $1 - 8/5 Bonus in Sigma - location details unknown. 10/7/4 (900 For Aces) in Sigma - location and game details are unknown. There are several other VP machines, but the paybacks are bad. It does take $90 for $1 and up VP and $140 for .50 and lower VP to earn 1 point.

*** Just got back from Foxwoods, usually go every Tue/Wed. It still takes $140 in to equal $1 comps on Quarter and Half VP. Also, there aren't any Discretionary or Marketing comps that I have ever heard of. If there were such, and you played at a level to be there, it wouldn't matter in a way, as you'd have more than enough points to do as you please anyway. BUT, 10-15K day would get you in a mid-level lounge, which includes Bar, tv's, and pretty decent hot and cold spreads. They also do mailers.. My X was a green chip BJ player and received 4 coupons per month (all $20's, 2 for food, 2 for Points; use 1 per week, Mon-Fri.), and one or 2 free nites.

After briefly scouting all the full pay machines I could find were: Old Casino (#2?) 5$ full-pay pick'em in high area, 1$ 8/5 bonus (Sigma, "4 of a kind bonus", 99.1%) just outside high area, $.25 full-pay pick-em in alcove; in old casino (#1) $25 9/6 jacks and $100 NSU deuces.

*** $90 coin-in now earns 1 point on all machines and all denominations.

The only deuces they have in the .25-$1 range are ugly deuces, really ugly deuces and these-are-so-bad-I-should-just-stick-with-slots-deuces.
