We've been going to GVR for as long as it has been open. There are several things to love. The rooms are good size and the beds and bedding's are the best I have ever slept on in any place in Vegas. The Video Poker is excellent with 100+ and lots of 99.4+% machines. At times I think the casino gets crowded, but that would not be true when comparing it to the strip casinos. I have to admit we don't stay on the strip very often and after my last trip to the strip I found out was crowded REALLY is. OMG. They have good food selection for Steaks, Hanks is great. Italian is good, cafe is pretty good, and buffet is OK for a buffet. If you like Chinese you will love China Spice. We spend most of our time in the casino playing, but took a break in May to go to the pool bar. The waitresses are nearly all 10's and those bikini's WOW. Even though we sat in the covered area I will definitely bring my dark glasses to hide my stares. Yikes. Seriously its my favorite place as it has it all. dickinfl

First let me say I'm amazed that the only other review is not good, but it's totally based on the person's luck playing VP. Are you kidding me? Why would any review be based on a little bad luck I ask. So let's have some straight talk. They offer the best VP in Las Vegas. Choose from Full pay (over 100% return) or the other great games at up to 99.8% How can that be bad? The food choices are excellent. T Bones is great for a upscale dinner, and we love the Yard House for all their food choices, even though we have just barely sampled from the HUGE menu. And you thought they only had a HUGE Beer offering. We especially love going at happy hour and fill ourselves up of the appetizers at the great happy hour prices. The buffet is OK, but hey it's a buffet and it's cheap. We normally only go there for breakfast and have our eggs made to order, and then sample some of the many other choices of meats, potatoes, etc. I think the change to the players club in the past year is a much better deal then the older one. And then they throw in an occasional multi-point day every now and then. At least one day per month is offered at the kiosk And we love the rooms too.
