Jun, 2005 I was wondering if anyone out there is getting comps from Isle of Capri. I've gone out there four times the last month, averaging about $3000 coin-in on All American a trip, losing $100 twice, $200 once, and winning $70 on the other, making a combined loss of $430. This is probably right at what they would expect to get of my $12000 bet. So what have I earned in comps? Nothing. Nada. Zilch.
Jun, 2005 We were there a couple weeks ago and each played a couple hours on 50 cent and dollar machines. We dropped $600 and when we asked for a comp for the deli -- a stinking sandwich for crying out loud -- we were basically told "go to hell, you get nothing!"
Jun, 2005 Their comps are tight, but this sounds like something is horribly wrong. Did you check your point totals at the little kiosks before and after playing? If you gambled that much, you should have built up quite a few point and the comps should appear automatically**. However, I have noticed in recent months that the points don't always show up right away, which means you wouldn't get any comps on that visit. When I asked at the promotions counter, their response was "The points show up when they show up. When they do, you can ask for comps then."
Feb, 2005 1 Cashback Point = $.05; Action Needed for 1 Pt = $35 (see Note); Cashback Rate = .14%; Isle Miles are worth about 1 cent each and also accrue at .14%. NOTE: This figure applies to the quarter AA machines. I don't know if it varies by machine at the Isle. Considering the number of quarter AA machines they have and that it doesn't take much play at all to earn about $80 bounce back each month, this is one of the better quarter plays in KC. The only opportunity I know of that beats it is when Harrah's runs one of their rare "2x Cashback" promotions.

Jan, 2005 In addition to the 8 quarter AA machines mentioned, there are 3 more along the back wall between the VP corner area and the rest rooms.
Oct, 2004 The last time I was there I got one for about every $23, but the time before, unless I was way off my count, I got a point for every $35. This was on the exact same type of machine.
Oct, 2004 Everything about their slot club is a mystery. I think I calculated their cashback at .26% once a long time ago. Points do not expire, but comps absolutely DO expire. If you find out you've earned a meal at the Isle, plan on taking it within a week or two or losing it.
