Sep, 2007 $5 8-6 Jacks. Mail is ok, with the .25% cb it gets you even on the game. Unless you're playing for gourmet room comps (supposed to be good), total wheel spinning otherwise.

Sep, 2007 I just got back from Fla and went to check out the new Class III gaming at Pompano. Nothing was full pay. The best I could find was 7/5 BP and 9/5 DDB. The Casino is smoke free and has a nice coconut type of smell. Drink are not free. It cost me $8 for a mixed drink. Valet parking was $7. They are running a promotion where they will reimburse new card memebers up to a $100 on a loss on that first night. You can pick up your money anytime in the next 30 days. I put 50K+ plus through the machine. I returned two nights later to pick up my $100 (I lost over 4K) and spoke with a host. I asked about a comp to the Italian restaurant or Steakhouse. I was denied the comp but offered a comp to the buffet, which I passed on. We then left and went out to dinner. This was my one and only visit to Pompano unless things change. 98% games, no cashback, no comps, no drinks, pay to park.....
Apr, 2007 The Isle Casino & Racing at Pompano Park opened last week with 1500 Las Vegas-style slots, the 3rd of 4 "racinos" to open in Broward County. Of the 1500 machines, less than 100 are video poker. The JOB at $.50 is 7/5, at $1.00 is 8/5, and at $2.00 is 8/6. The BP is only true BP at the $1.00 level, and is 6/5.
